at the State Tournament

The previous state game record of 1381 was surpassed by 7 pins by the Brunswick team at this years state tournament at Southtown. Robert Slayton 299; Dave Theis 287; Matt Schleppanbach 279; Daron Hansen 278; and Sam Sylvester 245 for a 1388

of Albert Lea, won his 7th CBA Title and is on his way to becoming the CBA "Bowler of the Year" for the 3rd consecutive season. Chad Nelson was runner-up for the 20th time and is the only bowler with a chance to dethrone Dan for Bowler of the year.

Lisa Noor Wins Women's St. Paul/Mpls Queens Tournament at Texa-Tonka Lisa Noor, proving again to be one of the very best woman bowlers in the state, by winning the Twin Cities Queens Tournament at Texa Tonka Lanes. Jeff Smith Wins Fisher Motors Shootout

Jeff Smith of Little Falls took home the top prize of $5,000 in Minot ND this weekend.   full results


Jordyn Chiodo, 11 years old, shoots 300 Jordyn Chiodo, the youngest bowler ever, in Mn., to shoot 300 achieved this while bowling with his dad Gregg in the adult youth league at AMF Maple Lanes. He was using a Ebon. Gamebreaker, drilled by his dad of Bowlers Choice Pro shop. Jordyn also won the 2008 Mpls. youth Tourney, Prep Div.

John Kreyer Jr sets AE record at State Tournament John Kreyer Jr shot a 2431 AE score with sets of T;827, S:782, D;822. Breaking the state all events record of 2393 by Jeff Smith and surpassing Matt McNeil's 2393, the previous high of this years state tourney at AMF Southtown.
